we cater for |
Who
is eligible? |
Competitive
games are run for the ages of approx.
seven year olds up to and including eighteen
year olds. |
All
players both male and female are eligible
provided they are registered with the
League through a member club.
Under
current legislation female players cannot
play on male teams beyond their thirteenth
year.
From
season 2006-07 girls teams will be catered
for in the SDFL. |

When
do we play? |
We operate from our purpose built complex in
Ballyowen
Park, Lucan, Co Dublin

Normally
the playing season begins the first
weekend in September and runs through
to the end of May the following year.
There
are closed periods to allow for Christmas
and Easter when no games are scheduled

for details of closed periods). |

to form a team/club |
What
ages can player’s play at? |
| Adults
interested in forming teams/clubs should
first check the club directory for their
local area and if possible become a
part of an established club, this will
give the benefit of a solid structure
and support base.
If
a new club is your goal contact the
League through the Hon. Secretary
( Administration)
and every assistance and advice will
be given. |
Players
are eligible to play at their appropriate
age, e.g. to play under 10 in season
2006-07
a
player must have been born on or after
1st
January 1996.
Player
eligibility is strictly by age, always
double check your players age's |
