All referees are recruited, trained and operate under the direct control of the FAI. Referees are in short supply and we urge everybody to respect referees and to accept their decisions.

It is vitally important that new referees are given the time, encouragement and patience to get to grips with their new role and we would strongly urge everybody connected with clubs/teams to take the long term view and refrain from abusing our referees.

Removal of referee details

We have been instructed by The Irish Soccer Referees Sociey, Dublin Branch as and from 16/01/2010 to remove all Referees names and contact details from our website. This is out of our control and we would advise that all Secretaries consult their Secretary's handbook should they need to contact a Referee.
